    Best local place for burgers, fish and wraps. My favorite is the grilled chicken salad. I had the homemade cream of mushroom soup recently and it was the best!

    Great place to get a burger and fries. fast and most of the time friendly. won't hold it against them for being Cubs fans!

    A good local place where the owners and the bartenders and cooks. Definitely a lake dive place, but everyone knows everyone so a nice place to go after boating all day. The place is small and they are busy usually on the weekend but food comes fast. EVERYTHING is literally frozen and refried. You see the chef take everything out of the box, bag, or tub, so don't go in thinking it's fresh made or farm to table. The coconut shrimp looked really good...they came out of a box looked like they bought them from Costco. The burgers looked really good and I'd try that next time. Had the perch, which was ok (fried nicely and wasn't greasy at all). My dad had the shrimp and they were the typical fried shrimp....very good portions for a fair price.

    I could make a better quesadilla than what they made and I can't even cook. Our waitress was nice but the food took 45 minutes. The quesadilla had barely any cheese on it and it was so small. It took me 5 minutes to eat and I was not full.

    I was not happy with how bad the food was considering how long we waited.

    We just love this place.  The food is always fresh and delicious.  The service is friendly and prompt.  The Sand Trap is must for this family every weekend.  It's a hard industry in a small town like like this but Lori and Jason go beyond to deliver top notch food and beverages. To the other reviewer, portion size?  Seriously?  We almost always take a to-go box with us.  That makes no sense.   A friend of ours introduced us to the Sand Trap a few years back and and we have been patronizing it ever since.  It's so apparent what pride Lori and Jason take in the establishment.  Very much appreciated and so delicious!!  Keep up the great work!
